Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
